Logan was born in Kalispell Montana and grew up around Flathead Lake. He graduated from Flathead High school in 2010 and started his college career in Bellingham Washington at Western Washington University. In 2012, after he decided he wanted to focus on Geology, he moved back to Montana to attend Montana State University. While attending MSU he focused on studies in geology towards Mineralogy and Petrography. Led by the late Volcanologist Todd Feeley, he was accredited for his assistance in petrographic work regarding Erbium replaced Plagioclase from the Lazufre Deformation zone in Chile. After graduating and spending some time away from University, he decided to come back to MSU for the Secondary Education General Science Broadfield program. Having worked summer jobs in mineral and jewelry sales during college, the Gem Gallery was a perfect fit. Now In his spare time, he is usually out prospecting, rockhounding, & camping.
