18K Antique Yogo & Diamond Brooch

An oval Yogo Sapphire weighing 1.25 carats is bezel-set at the center of this antique 18K yellow gold brooch. Old mine cut Diamonds are set above and below the Sapphire, with Pearls flanking it on either side. A Pearl drop hangs from the base of the brooch, framed by ornate scrollwork and foliate detail throughout. A 14K gold pin on the back provides a firmer hold than the softer 18K body, keeping the clasp secure and resistant to bending over time.
