• Lifting weights at the gym - can distort the shape of rings and wear down the metal
• Rock climbing - can destroy, distort, scratch, or chip jewelry and gemstones
• Soaking in hot tubs/springs - can cause weakness in the metal, especially in white gold

• thinning metal - re-shanking
• loose or lost stones - tighten / replace
• ring size too small or big - resizing
